SpEEd TEst!

For all SPEED demons out there i have something that might interest you, and i am not talking about racing though you can compare you speeds among others. "Its a Bird, its a Plane...Its SPeedtest.net!

For those who don't know what it is, Speedtest.net is a broadband analysis tool which allow you to test your broadband speeds.Either your facing slow internet connection problems or simply just curious of wanting to know your download and upload rate you can give it a try.

It has a huge range of servers dispersed all over the world. This is by far the speedtest site which i have seen. It is free to use and with an easy to use interface even a child could test his or her connection in seconds.

The presentation of this site is excellent as it has a real time speedometer which allows you to track your speed. After testing you will get your results and you can compare your results with others using your ISP or even the world.

The technology behind Speedtest.net is identical to that of the Ookla Speed Test which is provided to a wide variety of companies and organizations on a licensed basis. What this means is that you get accurate results and they even save your past result for later referral.
