MEssiDoNa!!

After the recent Final of the Copa America came to an end, the dream of Messi holding his first senior international winner's cup wasn't to be.Through out the tournament, Messi displayed sublime touches and pure magic which made me reminisce of Argentine's greatest Maradona. His goal in Argentina's 3-0 win over Mexico left the crowd in an awe of silence....

Born in June 24 1987, this young lad has come along way winning trophy's for his club and the Argentina youth team. Messi started playing for Barcelona's youth team at a tender age of 13 and has since been one of their indispensable players now. His flair, charisma on the pitch and skills makes everyone say that he is the new Maradona, the savior of Argentine football. It cant be denied, that the pressure is on him with comparison of that sort, but he is still young and has a long way to go to really prove his worth and win the World Cup for Argentina!

With Messi not going anywhere next season, and transfer speculation of Eto leaving still undecided, the thought of Messi playing along side Thierry Henry would be a mouth watering prospect.

For those Messi Fans out there i shall leave you with a video.
