FaSterFox!

What is the fastest fox on the planet? Yes that right, Mozilla Firefox 2.0. Personally for me its the best browser i had, not only with speed but with so many other cool features.

My friend used to use I.E, and when i told him to switch he said that all the browsers are the same...thats till yesterday. His hard drive crashed and he sent his laptop for repairs. They installed Firefox for him on his new hard drive and he couldn't stop ranting to me as to how good Firefox is. But when i asked his has he tweak and optimized his Firefox? He said he didn't know how.

So thats why i decided to post and write how to Optimized Firefox settings, for a way cooler and faster browsing experience. There are 2 ways to change the speed settings of your browser. You could type about:config in your browser and change the pipelining and pipeline proxy's from there. But if you are new to Firefox and are not to sure of what i am saying, i have a more user-friendly way.

The Faster Fox. Its an add-on that enhances your browsing speed, they have five setting levels to choose from, default, courteous, optimize, turbo charge and custom.
Only choose custom if you know what you are doing. Turbo charge works pretty well, I'd say faster then Opera. What is cool is that the also have a timer which shows you how many seconds it took to load the page.

Since we are at add-ons, for those of you who like to change the display of your browsers you could. Firefox has a wide variety of themes which you can download and use.
Another cool feature is they have this add-on called Tiny Menu. Well like its name, its really a tiny menu. Have you ever felt that you are wasting space with all the button which you don't use? For instance the Help, edit button, etc? Well with tiny Menu, everything goes in one small Drop Down Menu-box. So you save one whole row from your browser.

Tab Mix Plus is also a useful add-On if your browsing multiple sites. Firefox really helps a lot with tab browsing, but sometimes when there are to many sites on tabs, we cant see the hidden tabs and have to use the arrow buttons to scroll it.
What tab mix plus does is that it allows you to have multiple tab rows so that your tabs don't get hidden. You can view all your tabs, and with Faster fox installed, it will also show whether the page has fully loaded on the Tab.

Well i could go on and on about a lot more great add-ons like mouse gesturing, sending free sms, music player add-on, PDF...But its way to much to cover. So i suggest u visit Firefox Add-ons and choose what suits your browsing style the best! But be warned not to install too many add-ons as this may cause your browser to crash. Only choose what you really need!
